How do I start playing?

To start playing your favourite lotteries online, simply sign up to the site with your email address! After signing up, select your favourite lottery and enjoy the freedom of being able to play the lottery online, anywhere & anytime!

The site says my credit card already exists in the system. How do I proceed?

A

This error message indicates that your credit card has already been registered to another account on the site. For security reasons, payment methods cannot be registered to multiple accounts. For additional assistance, please contact customer support.

Can I purchase just one line?

A

We require a minimum purchase of between 2-6 lines in order to offer a reasonable price for the wide range of services we provide. If you do not complete the required number selection, the system will automatically fill in numbers for the empty lines using quick pick. Please note that Bundles contain a single personal line as part of the overall package.

How do I select/update my default language?

A

We are proud to present theLotter in 15 different languages. To select or update your default language, please visit Personal Details. Please note that all correspondence from the site will be sent in your default language.

How do I select/update my default currency?

A

theLotter supports five international currencies:  Euro, US Dollar, Great British Pound, AU Dollar and Ruble. You can select a preferred currency for each payment method you register in Payment Details.  Your payment method will be charged in the designated currency, and the currency displayed on the site will be the same as the currency selected for your default payment method.

How do I set my notification preferences?

To change your account mailing preferences, please visit Notifications. You can select to receive activity emails and/or special offers by checking the boxes next to these options. 

Register to receive FREE SMS winning notifications so that you always know as soon as possible if you won!

Please note:  If you select not to receive activity emails, you will not receive participation confirmation emails, account activity updates, or winning notifications.

How do I change my username?

A

Your username is relevant for sign in purposes only and does not need to correspond to your actual name. If you wish to use a different username, you will be required to open a new account with a different credit card and email address. Please note that your username should have 6 - 10 characters and should not contain the symbols: = ,<,>, or contain more than one period (.) in a row.

How do I change my password?

To change your password, please visit Personal Details, update your selection, and save changes in order to create a new password. Please note that your password should contain 6 - 10 characters.

Where can I view a summary of all my transactions on the site?

A

In Transactions, you will be able to see a complete summary of one-time entries, subscriptions, multi-draws, deposits, withdrawals, and wins. You can find additional information by clicking on the relevant transaction’s row.

How do I close my account?

A

If you wish to close your account and be removed from our mailing list, please go to Personal Details and make your account status "closed" in the drop down menu at the bottom of the page.

I tried to close my account, but the site tells me I can’t. Why is it not working?

A

If you are unable to close your account on the site, there may be pending lottery ticket entries or balance. We will be unable to close your account until all active participation has taken place, and you have received your winnings. To cash-out funds, please select to Withdraw in My Account.  If you require further assistance, please contact customer service for more information.

What information does theLotter receive if I register with Facebook?

A

When registering through Facebook Connect, theLotter receives access to your Facebook public information. theLotter will not create any posts on your wall, and your information will not be shared with third parties. Please note that additional details are required during the sign up process to play your favourite lotteries.

Can I still login with my username?

A

Yes! If you have a theLotter username, simply use it to access to the site. You can also login with your registered email to play your favourite lotteries online! For any assistance, please contact customer support.
