EuroJackpot Lottery Record Jackpots

EuroJackpot Lottery Record Jackpots

The EuroJackpot lottery has a jackpot cap of €120 million, and as such, that is the highest jackpot prize that any player can win. Until March 2022, the EuroJackpot cap was set at €90 million and many lucky players were able to win this exciting prize thanks to the draw’s relatively favorable odds! The €90 million jackpot was won for the first time on 15 May 2015, when a Czech player won a prize equivalent in his local currency to CZK 2.5 billion. The second time the EuroJackpot reached its jackpot cap was on 14 October 2016, when a single lucky player from Germany scooped up the entire €90 million prize. The jackpot reached its cap for the third time just a few weeks later on 6 January 2017, when five lucky ticket holders split the €90 million, entitling each ticket to an €18 million prize. In the EuroJackpot draw on 9 February 2018, the entire €90 million prize was awarded to a single lucky player from Finland. Two German players split the jackpot in the EuroJackpot draw on 6 July 2018; each won a €45 million prize. Five winners from across Europe split a €90 million jackpot prize in November 2018. EuroJackpot again reached its cap in May 2019 when two lucky players - one from Germany and one from Poland - shared a €90 million jackpot

A €110 million EuroJackpot record was reached on 20 May 2022 after 13 consecutive rollovers that left the jackpot only €10 million away from the cap. A single ticket from the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia was the sole winner of the entire prize. Just two months later in July 2022, the €120 million EuroJackpot cap was won by a single ticket sold in Denmark! This win not only broke EuroJackpot records, but it was also the biggest lottery prize ever awarded to a Danish player. The €120 million cap was reached again by a single winning ticket sold in Berlin in November 2022, making it the second time the lottery's jackpot cap has ever been reached!
