Second Teesside Lotto Winner Comes Forward to claim £111, 800!

12 Aug 2014

As reported yesterday, the world was waiting for the winner of a near £112,000 Lotto jackpot to come forward. theLotter reveals new details on the winning couple!

theLotter News Update: Robert Silcox and his partner, Emma Coulson, were vacationing at a caravan park in Cumbria, taking a much-needed rest from the busy lives in Eaglescliffe. When Robert couldn’t find the soda he wanted in the caravan canteen, he popped into town to the local Spar for a can of Sprite and three lucky dip tickets. Little did he know his timely thirst would make him a jackpot winner!

Though the drawing was held on July 26, Robert had no reception on his phone to check the numbers until the following week. Coming it to tell Emma of the win, his face was as white as a ghost. “I thought he was going to tell me the car had been pinched or something”, she recalled. “Had it had been £11,000, we would have been screaming our heads off, but this is life-changing!”

The couple who have two daughters and a Labrador plan on spoiling them all, along with some home renovations. Matching five numbers plus the bonus ball – 8, 14, 22, 26, 35, 37 and 11 – saw them splitting the funds with two other winners who matched those numbers as well. Don’t miss your chance to play EuroMillions, the UK’s biggest lottery!
