EuroMillions - New Rules

Prior to February 2020, the EuroMillions jackpot was capped at €190 million. At that time, the jackpot cap was increased to €200 million. Now that this jackpot cap has been reached for the first time, the jackpot cap for the next EuroMillions cycle will be increased by €10 million and will stand at €210 million. Once that new jackpot cap is reached, the EuroMillions will again increase its cap by €10 million and the jackpot will continue to grow from cycle to cycle in this manner until it reaches its maximum of €250 million.

It’s important to note that the EuroMillions jackpot can remain at its €200 million cap for 4 consecutive draws. If it is still not won in the following draw, the jackpot money rolls down to be distributed between the winners of the next highest prize tier.

We cannot be sure how quickly the EuroMillions jackpot will grow because it depends on future rollovers. What we do know, however, is the current €200 million jackpot stands is a new EuroMillions jackpot record and this historic jackpot will be up for grabs, unless it’s won, for four draws only!
