The clock is ticking for one lucky USA Powerball player, who won $200,000 last year and is yet to claim their prize.
According to the Morning Sentinel, a lottery ticket bought in Maine for the July 17th draw in 2010 with five matching numbers needs to be presented before the July 18th cut-off next month.
The winning digits for that day were 22, 27, 35, 37 and 45 with a Powerball of 3 and Power Play of 4.
Director of operations at the Bureau of Alcoholic Beverages and Lottery Operations Tim Poulin was quoted as saying: “We want to get the word out in case the winner’s out there.”
The ticket was bought in Eliot and the owner has until 17:00 local time on the deadline date to present their numbers at the Maine State Lottery.
And two lucky USA Powerball players – Mary and Chad Tillman – from Boone in Iowa collected their $1 million winnings a month after their numbers appeared in the draw.
