Dad wins $14 million playing New York Lotto – December 23rd 2011

A 50-year-old father from Staten Island has scooped $14 million playing USA New York Lotto this week.

According to New York Daily News, Edward Foti went down to the lottery headquarters on Tuesday (December 20th) to collect his prize where he revealed that he feels “Blessed, especially in these hard times”.

Mr Foti used a Quick Pick random number generator to select the winning numbers on his lottery ticket and has chosen to receive his payout as a lump sum rather an annuity.

But despite this incredible new wealth to play with, the grievance representative has claimed he will not be changing too much, admitting he will be staying in his job and using the money to set his son up for college and care for his mother.

Mr Foti was even laid back when he discovered his good luck, revealing that when he realised he was holding the ticket to a $14 million fortune on his lunch break, he went on eating his sandwich and returned to the office as normal.

Fans of USA New York Lotto may want to try their chances at a Quick Pick number selection at theLotter to be in with a chance of winning the jackpot in the Christmas Eve draw on Saturday (December 24th).
