California now has one more millionaire after a lottery player from Los Angeles scooped a whopping $56.5 million playing USA Mega Millions.

The lucky lotto fan won the jackpot on Saturday (October 1st) and will share his or her payout with another fortunate person from North Carolina who also matched all six numbers – splitting the $113 million prize in two.
