Dave and Angela Dawes, who scooped €115 million last month playing EuroMillions, have been seen celebrating their enormous lotto windfall with a meal out – but unlike other lucky lottery winners, this pair is not wallowing in caviar and champagne.

An insider at the luxury hotel they stayed at in London revealed to the Star that Mr Dawes was unimpressed with the food on the establishment’s menu and asked the chef to knock together a curry for him, which he washed down with a pint of lager.

The couple have been relishing their newfound lottery wealth in other ways, however, spending time at the Apple store in the capital’s West End before hopping into a chauffeur-driven Mercedes S-Class to complete their shopping spree on Oxford Street.

Lotto fans who fancy a taste of the lifestyle Mr and Mrs Dawes are enjoying may already have their numbers lined up for Friday’s (October 28th) EuroMillions draw, which has an estimated jackpot of €26 million.
