EuroMillions winners pledge to share their fortune with friends – October 12th 2011

A pair of EuroMillions winners have pledged to share their winnings with a dozen of their closest friends.

Dave and Angie Dawes – who live in a €79-a-week rented flat in London – won €115 million playing the European lottery last week, making them the third-richest lotto winners in the UK.

According to the Daily Mail, the pair are drawing up a list of loved ones they want to see share in their wealth.

Ms Dawes – who has one son from a previous marriage – is said to be dreaming of a life of fast cars and luxurious mansions, while her other half has promised to buy her a new engagement ring with their newfound riches.

The couple are not yet married and are planning their ceremony to take place next year.

Ms Dawes told the newspaper that the event will be a “bit more glamorous now”.

The next EuroMillions lottery draw will take place on Friday (October 14th) and lotto fans who get involved could be in with a chance of scooping the €27 million jackpot.
