EuroMillions makes UK’s third-biggest lotto winner – October 10th 2011

The third-biggest lottery winner in the UK has come forward to collect their enormous EuroMillions prize.

Camelot has revealed that the lucky lotto fan is now €116.4 million wealthier after their ticket matched all the numbers called on Friday’s (October 7th) draw, entitling them to the gigantic payout.

The jackpot – which ballooned over the weeks thanks to multiple rollovers – will make the fortunate lotto fan the 703rd-richest individual in the UK, with a personal wealth equivalent to legendary rocker David Bowie.

A spokesman from the National Lottery stated: “There will be no information on whether it is an individual or syndicate winner, or where the ticket was purchased, unless the ticket-holder decides to go public.”

So now the EuroMillions prize has been reset at €15 million – a life-changing amount for any lottery fan.
