USA Mega Millions fan’s win “could not have come at a better time” – August 31st 2011

One lucky USA Mega Millions player has won big on his favourite lotto draw, taking home a life-altering $250,000 cash prize.

Idaho man James Pond told KREM 2 News: “I feel so blessed. I’m so thankful. This could not have come at a better time.”

Mr Pond recently discovered that his son’s financial aid for college was not going to come through and that he owed money in taxes, but now his luck has changed.

He revealed that after these matters are settled, he is going to buy his son a jet ski and give something back to his community, as a lot of his neighbours have give him a helping hand in the past and he wants to return the favour.

Lottery fans may be interested in putting in their numbers in time for Friday’s (September 2nd) USA Mega Millions draw, as the jackpot is estimated to be a cool $25 million.
