EuroMillions winners to spend jackpot on €61 million mansion? – August 9th 2011

  by: admin - Category:

Record-smashing EuroMillions lottery winners Colin and Christine Weir are being tipped to spend some of their €185 million winnings on a mansion.

According to the Daily Star, the couple – who are from the Scottish marina town of Largs – have decided to stay local rather than move somewhere more exotic with their lotto payout.

The most expensive property on the market in the area is worth €61 million and could be the Weirs’ next home.

Titled the Ferness, the villa is a secluded mansion enclosed in private grounds and screened from prying eyes by walled gardens and trees.

If they did move there then they could enjoy such features as a snooker room, cinema, gym, wine cellar, three reception rooms and a coach house.

And lotto fans who fancy winning big on the EuroMillions can play today (August 9th), as the jackpot has rolled over yet again – totalling a whopping €35 million.
