Tension mounts ahead of EuroMillions draw after 14 rollovers – July 12th 2011

  by: admin - Category:

After 14 rollovers, EuroMillions fans are on the edge of their seats, as tonight’s (July 12th’s) jackpot has climbed to an eye-watering €185 million.

The draw would result in a record win for one lucky lotto player, as a single victor would instantly become the biggest winner ever – beating the previous champion who won €145 million in the Italian SuperEnalotto in 2009.

And if tonight, no top prize is claimed then the jackpot will be capped at its current level and will be shared between the winners at the next level down.

Tickets are expected to be sold at a rate of three million an hour, peaking this afternoon at an unbelievable 900 per second, according to the Daily Mirror.

Lottery fans can pick their numbers and get in the game immediately by playing at theLotter – which will alert lucky players if they have succeeded in securing a payout.

If the jackpot goes to a single player tonight then they will be a part of the UK’s financial elite – cosying up with the likes of Posh and Becks and Dragons’ Den entrepreneur Theo Paphitis.
