Gamers have until June 19th to claim a winning Powerball ticket for their own, as the 180-day period within which to come forward is now drawing to a close.

Chip Polston, Kentucky Lottery vice-president of communications, said the stub must be taken to the Louisville headquarters in order to be cashed, although since the offices will be closed on the 19th for the weekend, the winner can scan their ticket at retailers before midnight and the claim will still be paid.
