USA Powerball draw sees no winners in Washington – June 17th 2011

  by: admin - Category:

USA Powerball players in Washington failed to choose the right numbers when the draw was announced on Wednesday (June 15th), with nobody from the state taking home the $25 million jackpot or other top prizes.

According to the Associated Press, the selected digits were 19, 20, 38, 41 and 43, while the Powerball was 29 with a Power Play number of four.

In addition, no top prizes were claimed for the Washington State Lottery, with the $5.2 million Lotto jackpot rising to $5.3 million when the next draw takes place.

The winning Lotto numbers were 3, 11, 27, 31, 46 and 47.

However, even though no jackpots were won, 19 tickets out there were sold with five of the six winning numbers, which could make the players $1,000 richer – while 733 tickets have been processed with four numbers, worth $30 each.

And a couple of lucky USA Powerball players announced they have taken home $1 million in winnings after drawing the numbers for the top prize more than a month ago.

Mary and Chad Tillman from Boone in Iowa will invest their lottery payout to benefit their family of seven.
