The lucky winner of last Friday’s (May 27th’s) USA Mega Millions game is still to come forward to collect their $35 million.

It is thought the person in question is a Granbury, Texas resident but, as Gary Grief – executive director of the Texas Lottery Commission – noted, officials are still waiting by the phone for the player to get in touch.

“At the end of the 26 years over which this prize is paid, the ticket holder will have collected the advertised $35 million jackpot,” he remarked, adding that this will be the ninth Mega Millions ticket sold in the state since it joined the game in 2003.

The winning numbers in the lotto draw were 28, 7, 5, 56 and 14, with the Mega Ball of 10.
