“Simple folk” win USA Mega Millions – June 29th 2011

A pair of gentlemen from South Carolina who have been playing the lottery together for years have struck it lucky this month on the USA Mega Millions and lined their pockets with $1 million.

Describing himself and his friend as “simple folk”, one of the winners – both of whom have elected to remain anonymous – said he couldn’t keep hold of the ticket as he was scared he might lose it.

His friend looked after it for two weeks, while they let the fact they had hit the lottery big time sink in.

“We want to look further than today. We want to help many generations of our families with this blessing,” one of the chaps remarked.

The numbers that dropped during the June 7^th draw were 29, 32, 35, 47 and 52, with the bonus ball of 13.
