According to the Lottery Guy, writing on his official website, one way to win the lotto online is to avoid numbers that have already proved successful for someone else, particularly if they dropped during a recent draw.

He also suggested avoiding tip services that provide numbers, since lots of other people will undoubtedly have the same idea.

Additionally, steer well clear of making patterns on tickets when selecting digits, such as zig-zags, star shapes or diagonal lines.

“You might think who else would do that? The answer is anywhere from tens of people to tens of thousands of people,” the Lottery Guy observed, stating that the best way to choose digits is to do so completely at random.

Using the numbers made famous in US TV series Lost might work, however. According to CBS, various players have chosen these for lotto draws – with a modicum of success.
