Winning Powerball ticket set to expire – April 28th 2011

The clock is ticking on two unclaimed Pennsylvania Lottery tickets – a Powerball ticket worth $200,000 and a Quinto mid-day ticket worth $50,000.

The ticketholders won the prizes on May 12th and 11th 2010 and have exactly one year from the drawing dates to claim the cash.

Lottery officials are now urging all players to take a close look at their tickets. “One of our players could have a big winning ticket sitting on a desk, stashed in a closet or tucked into a coat pocket and not even know it,” said Drew Svitko, Lottery interim executive director.
