Mega Millions Lottery Prize Claimed by Crown Point Couple

David and Peggy Keller won $1 million prize playing Mega Millions lottery. Their lucky ticket matched all five numbers 4-8-15-25-47. An extra dollar they have added for the Megaplier automatically increased the prize from the standard $250,000 to $1 million.

“We both about fell on the floor,” David Keller, 58, said. “For some reason I was laying in bed when I started thinking about our tickets and how we hadn’t added the Megaplier,” David Keller told Mega Millions lottery representatives. “So when I got up in the morning I went and bought five more with the Megaplier.”

The lucky Mega Millions ticket was purchased at The Hen. Keller told the press that he usually buys lottery tickets at the local convenience store. “It’s going to make life a lot easier,” David Keller said while his family took pictures of him and his wife holding their check.

His wife Peggy said they plan to use Mega Millions money to pay off debt and to take their grandchildren to Disney World. “I just couldn’t believe it,” Peggy Keller said.
