No Powerball Lottery Winner Yet as the Prize Rises to $25M

  by: admin - Category:

The stakes are getting even higher in Powerball lottery, as the game has not got a winner yet. This past weekend was no different from the week before, as those who were hoping to win the huge cash prize on offer were in for a shock. Several individuals came very close to claiming the jackpot money and missed it by a mere number.

Last Saturday’s Powerball Lottery draw in Orlando was not won by anyone after it emerged that out of all the tickets sold on Saturday evening, none matched all the numbers that were drawn. The six numbers that popped up during the draw were 02-06-32-42-49.

The amazing thing is that no player got all the above numbers, as some of them could only manage to get five numbers right in the race to win a staggering $20 million. This means the jackpot goes up to around $25 million in the Wednesday draw. That was in the power play 3.

Three ticket holders (2 from Florida and 1 player from Kentucky) who managed to get five numbers from the six drawn did not, however, go home empty handed, as they each won a cash prize of $200,000.

So if you are a Powerball lottery player, get to your nearest ticket outlet and buy your ticket as soon as possible, because you never know if Wednesday could prove to be your lucky day.

In the meantime, the prize money continues to rise.
