The biggest price ever in the history of Superenalotto was rewarded to the lucky winner in 2005. The Superenalotto jackpot for a total of 72.090.405,19 Euros or $93 million included previous un-won draws. The award was transferred to the lucky winner in full without further taxation since the Italian State took care of such prizes at a fixed rate. The lucky lottery ticket was purchased in Milano.
