Only then Goodwin, the retired mechanic from Kannapolis, checked the numbers only to find out the he holds the Power ball ticket worth $2 million.

The lucky lottery ticket was purchased at the Lane Express Food Mart in Kannapolis. It is a good thing that players have 180 days to claim their prize. And it is a good thing Facebook offers social experiences since 2004.

Goodwin now has a capital worth $1.36 million after taxes and he plans to share his fortune with family and friends. In fact, Goodwin is the 74th player who has won over a million dollars since the N.C. Education Lottery was launched in 2006.
